SISU (pronounced “see-soo”) is from Los Angeles, California, and upcoming full-length Blood Tears is their first proper collection of songs. Led by Sandra Vu, the quartet is completed by Ryan Wood, Nathanael Keefer, and Becky Calinsky (formerly of Vincent Gallo band RRIICCEE). SISU combines spare electro beats, sinewy basslines, undulating synths, shimmering guitar, and gossamer flute. Floating above it all is Vu’s voice, vulnerable and breathy.
